PORTERS HEIGHTS - Canterbury [From $40 p/Child $75 p/Adult NZ] The
closest ski area to Christchurch, Porters offers spectacular views of the Southern Alps, with majestic Aoraki Mt Cook seeming
surprisingly close and Lake Coleridge sparkling below. Porters performs nightly grooming on the piste runs, and the protected
nature of the field, combined with the altitude, means that light, dry, fine winter snow tends to stay that way for most of
the season, providing ego-turns just about everywhere you go. (more images)
