THE KAIKOURA region is
nothing short of majestic. A rugged coastline meets snow-capped mountains and is home to abundant wildlife including
Fur Seals, world famous Whale Watching, Dolphins and an array of amazing Seabirds. Local foods include New Zealand
Rock-Lobster (Crayfish) or Paua that you can buy freshly caught at outlets dotting the roadside, or charter a fishing
boat off the coast and experience all the natural wonders off this beautiful coastal town. A great surf spot for those experienced,
and snowboarding in the winter. No South Island journey would be complete without a stay in Kaikoura.
